2 Corinthians 6:17
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean [thing]; and I will receive you,
No one, unless they willfully choose to reject the evidence, can deny that our world today is not as it used to be. Everything seems to be in a state of chaos. This is not negativity, it’s realism. This is the truth. This is not just a matter of another fanatical preacher ringing the doom and gloom bell. It is the reality of the situation. Just look at the news. From failing economies, to global unrest, the world is experiencing some of the most difficult times it has ever faced.
Added to this, is the lukewarm condition of the body of Christ. There are those who are quick to say there is nothing wrong with the Church, and to brand those willing to stand up and speak against the growing apostasy as trouble makers. But those who are listening to the voice of God, know full well that all is not at all right with the visible body of Christ. One such watchman who is willing to stand and proclaim the burden that God has put on his heart for the Church, is Pastor Carter Conlon. The senior pastor of Times Square Church.
Recently a brother in the Lord by the name of Tim Leonard visited us here at GlobalMicaiah. Tim is a humble brother in the Lord who believes that the Lord has given him a burden for His Church. He gave us a link to his blog and invited us to pay him a visit. You can find out more about Tim and his ministry at his blog www.wordtothechurch.blogspot.com. While visiting Tim’s website, we came across a sermon by Pastor Conlon, that moved us so much, we thought that we would share it with you our visitors here at GlobalMicaiah, and anyone else who has an opportunity to hear this message. The message is entitled “Run For Your Life”, and was preached the Sunday after the 911 attack in 2001. We urge you to listen to this message prayerfully, and may the Lord stir His people to repentance, that we may redeem the time, as we look towards the Lord’s soon and imminent return.
